Tarah Fleming, M.A. Ed.
Ms. Fleming has over 20 years of experience in the classroom internationally, and locally as an educator and facilitator of dialog on cultural responsiveness, anti-bias education, issues of power and privilege and developing equitable and inclusive curriculum for all ages. Her strong desire to work as a change agent and ally in multiple solidarity movements  led her to Our Family Coalition where she is now the Education Director working with LGBTQ families. In 2006 Tarah created her own consulting practice called Start Dialog: Courses in Cultural Competency, facilitating conversation and new perspectives on issues of equity and inclusion in education. From 2007-2011 Ms. Fleming also co-directed the Youth Action Project, which exists within the White Privilege Conference, one of the most progressive anti-racist movements in the U.S.
