FORGE (For Ourselves: Reworking Gender Expression) is a national education, advocacy and support umbrella organization supporting FTM+s(1) (female-to-male transsexuals and transgenderists, and others who were assigned female at birth but who have some level of masculine identification) and SOFFAs (Significant Others, Family, Friends and Allies).

TransFamily of Cleveland was founded to provide support and education for transgendered persons, their families, friends and significant others. We are associated with PFLAG to promote awareness of transgender persons and their issues. We are also associated with SSAFE, to bring awareness to our school systems, through their principals and counselors, by offering literature, speakers, consultation and support.

The Transgender Law Center (TLC) is a civil rights organization advocating for transgender communities. Every day we connect transgender people and their families to technically sound and culturally competent legal services, increase acceptance and enforcement of laws and policies that support California's transgender communities, and work to change laws and systems that fail to incorporate the needs and experiences of transgender people.
