Elephant Seal Walk - 9:45am and 10:00am

Join OFC families for a guided tour of the largest mainland breeding colony in the world for the northern elephant seal. Pack a lunch for a picnic after the tour! Due to strenuous conditions and cold weather, this is recommended only for older children. Space is limited; no same day tickets.

Cost: $7.00 per person; children 3 and under are free and do not need a ticket.

Two start times: 9:45am and 10:00am.

Register here for the 9:45am walk.

Register here for the 10:00am walk.

Walks last about 2.5 hours, and consist of a moderately strenuous 3 mile hike over sand and sloping terrain.

Be prepared for windy, rainy conditions, as well as muddy trails. Layered clothing, sturdy shoes, and hooded rain gear are recommended. Bring bottled water for drinking as there is none available during the walk
