Julia is a graduate of American Studies at UC Santa Cruz, where she was active in the University & community as a student activist and organizer.  In Santa Cruz her work and activities included planning educational and social events for the Rainbow Club and speaking at elementary schools as a Triangle Speaker, where her goal was to educate and open young children's mind about LGBTQ individuals.

Originally from Norwalk, CA (Southern California), she now lives in San Francisco's Mission District and is very excited to get to know the city as well as continue to work for social justice through community building, programming, and advocacy campaigns.
